DRD has 15 years of experience in the following activities:
- Establishing local organizations of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and working with them
- Connecting PWDs across the country, building a network of PWDs and groups of PWDs through training, financial and technical support in such areas as organization management, leadership, teamwork, and self advocacy.
- Skill training on project formulation, planning, monitoring and evaluation, restructuring, organization management, leadership, negotiation, crisis management, etc. This is one of the activities in DRD's comprehensive training, consulting, and evaluation work.
- Raising awareness about human rights to serve staff training and policy formulation on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; policies on using workers with disabilities, etc.
