Launching “Access for all” 2017-2020 term in Binh Dinh on 25th May, 2018

Friday, 25 May 2018 01:58

From the day that Vietnam promulgated Law of PWDs in 2010 and became effective as from 2011, disability activities also have changed positively. Policy enforcement, however, is still slow because there are no sanctions and the biggest obstacle to equal opportunity is lack of interest in infrastructure design and lack of awareness of disability, besides PWD’s capacity are also limited. These barriers obstruct PWDs in integrating into society.

The launching ceremony had the participations of Mr. Phan Dinh Hoa - Vice Director of DOLISA; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice President of Women's Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi The Vy - Manager of Social Protection Office, DOLISA; officials from Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Health, Department of Home Affairs, Ward People's Committee, and representatives of local PWDs Clubs, etc.
