In the morning of 1st March, 2018, DRD is pleased to welcome UWANO Toshi, a research student from the Tokyo University of Japan, to visit and discuss some of the concerns about access, emphasizing the access level of public transportation systems for PWDs in Vietnam.According to him, Vietnam has made many positive changes in facilitating the inclusion of PWDs, especially after the ratification of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Still, they are facing many barriers. Continuing to carry out research in Vietnam, he hopes to provide appropriate solutions to improve the inclusion of PWDs in Vietnam in the coming years.
