DRD awarded 10 sets of used computers to District 8 Blind Association

On November 3rd, 2017, the Disability Research And Capacity Development (DRD) and VinaCapital donated 10 used computers to the Blind Association of District 8.

Representatives of the Blind people in District 8, President Tran Van Dung thanked DRD and VinaCapital for their support. Mr. Dung said: "These computers will help members have more opportunities to study, especially after having been trained in computer class.” At the same time, he also wants to continue receiving more support because of the big needs from members.

In April 2017, DRD received from Vinacapital 10 CPUs, and 14 used monitors. Through inspection and repair of 10 CPUs and 4 monitors, they are still usable. Getting requesting computers for blind members in District 8, on November 3, DRD handed over the computers for them.
