Since 2005, DRD has always been a leading and trusted organization in the movement of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Vietnam. DRD is carrying out its mission of bringing values to the lives of persons with disabilities by:

- Aspiring to become an expert in the field of disability with expertise in researching topics about PWDs, including social work.

- Professional training and teaching about social work for PWDs

- Offering internship opportunities for students of relevant fields and supporting in-dept research.
